But, as Bar Refaeli attended the Marchesa Spring 2012 show in New York yesterday, she decided to leave something to the imagination - instead teasing fans in a sheer and lace dress.
The stunning Marchesa mini highlighted Bar's enviable figure, while highlighting her long legs and drawing attention to her feminine curves.

Talking recently about how she maintains her incredible body, Bar, 26, explained: 'I don’t feel the need to be super skinny, but being in shape is important. But even if I wasn’t in this industry I would still want to look after myself and be healthy and keep my body in good condition.
'There’s nothing worse than forcing yourself to spend hours in the gym when you don’t enjoy it, so I do all sorts of things to work out because I get bored easily.
'I don’t diet and I don’t have an eating plan, but I like to eat healthily. I don’t deny myself anything and there’s nothing I wouldn’t eat. I like desserts - I like food full-stop, but I exercise and I’m young, so everything keeps in check.'

The Israeli-born model was just one of the famous faces who turned up for the highly-anticipated Marchesa show.
Other celebrities to make an appearance included Naomi Campbell, who opted to keep things safe in a black dress, and Kelly Osbourne, who went for ladylike chic in a grey and black dress teamed with a matching coat.
Naomi wasn't the only star to have opted for dark, gothic outfits, as Camilla Belle donned a dramatic sheer black top and leggings.

Gossip Girl star Michelle Trachtenberg, meanwhile, appeared to have forgotten she was inside as she posed for photographs wearing a huge pair of sunglasses to accessorise her navy blue dress.
Mandy Moore, Olivia Palermo and Rachel Zoe also went for black outfits as they made their way to New York's Plaza Hotel where the show was held.
But not all the stars present at the runway show went for muted colours, as actress Michelle Monaghan proved when she turned up in a flirty lemon yellow dress.

TV presenter Louise Roe and Selita Ebanks also explored their colourful sides in orange and pink dresses respectively.
Petra Nemcova and Gossip Girl starlet Jessica Szohr went for colour too, but to a slightly lesser extent, showing off their curves in strapless aqua dresses.
And patterned numbers came from Emma Roberts, who looked cute in an asymmetric leopard-print dress, and Molly Sims, who dazzled in a pretty sequinned mini.
