We couldn't have been more thrilled when Elite Model Look 2009 champ Nyasha and Fei Fei Sun became two of the girls that the House of Vuitton has contracted for their very exciting Fall/Winter 2011/2012 campaign .

Following in the footsteps of Kristen McMenamy and Uma Thurman, Nyasha will be one of the fresh new faces leading the campaign.. snaps from the shoot show the stunning young models striking a pose in the back of vintage cars sporting items from LV's amazing new collection.

Elite Girls & Damon Baker || Backstage

Last week we went behind the scenes on a shoot with Elite favourite Damon Baker and of course a posse of our beautiful girls. Damon is well known for creating shoots that little bit different and going that extra mile to realise his vision, so we can't say we were shocked when he unveiled his latest concept.  Nyasha, Therese, Maddie, Jessica and Tasha emerged from hair & make-up like distressed damsels escaping from a raging fire...exactly the look Mr Baker wanted to achieve. The styling was industrial to say the least and suited the mood perfectly, keep your eyes peeled for the final edit of the shoot, Elite has had an exclusive peek and we think you'll all be very excited to see it!

Working all day on a shoot can be super tiring, so everyone involved has to keep their energy up all day...what better for this than some delish sushi? We were lucky enough to munch our way through some amazing treats from Hi Sushi in Camden, to get us through the day at today's shoot with Damon Baker. As you can see by the looks on their faces our Elite girls were more than happy with the surprise treats. Massive thank-you to Hi Sushi!

We are very proud to announce our homegrown beauty, Nyasha Matonhodze, winner of Elite Model Look UK 2009, is currently making waves across the atlantic with this vibrant editorial in teen bible, TeenVogue. Surrounded by a plethora of colours, Nyasha fits the vivacious feel of the shoot down to a T! That smile would brighten up even the greyest of days here at Elite London HQ! The feature, shot by Daniel Jackson, has left us wishing for spring to hurry up so we can brighten up our dull winter wardrobes, just like Nyasha. NYASHA'S DAZZLING DEBUT

While our crop of 2010 EML girls were preparing for the world final in Shanghai, last year's UK winner Nyasha Matonhodze was busy showing us all just how far an EML girl can go in 12 months - actually in just 4 weeks as she has only just finished school! After closing her debut London season with a turn for Jonathan Saunders, we were thrilled to see Nyasha turning heads in Paris for none other Loewe and Louis Vuitton. A dazzling debut!

STAR SPOTTING AT T4

We had an amazing time at T4's Stars of 2009 yesterday where Elite took over the Rimmel Catwalk Stage to launch the very first UK casting for Elite Model Look 2010. Our team of scouts braved the rain to check out the queue at Earl's Court and then race their 10 best finds to our backstage area for the fastest of catwalk classes before the girls were thrown into the spotlight to strut their stuff....

After all 10 girls had walked for the judges our winner was the gorgeous 16 year old Lottie O'Donoughue from Bromley, who impressed us so much that we're putting her straight into our EML final next summer. With 7 whole months to prepare we can't wait to see what she can do...

The stunning Rochelle Wiseman of girl group the Saturdays made time before her apperance on the main stage to add a sprinkling of celebrity sparkle to the judging panel... here she is with our EML UK 09 winner Nyasha Matonhodze, who's looking every inch the supermodel herself!

With our presenters - Hollyoaks' Matt & Darren, plus Paloma Faith, Ke$ha, Example and Rochelle's bandmate Frankie joining us backstage, it was one crowded green room.... EML 09 world finalist Emily Smith made sure she got the shots though - here she is meeting Edith Bowman, who was also presenting on our stage
