Ming: One to Watch!

How unbelievably beautiful is this girl? From the moment we saw her at the Elite Model Look Final 09 we knew she was one to watch. Clearly we're not the only ones who saw something special in Ming and she was snapped up by Givenchy to walk exclusively in the Couture show in Paris this week...we see this as a sign of amazing things to come and can't wait for her to come to London to show us who else she can charm!

FASHION WEEK SURVIVAL GUIDE!

It’s that time of year again...London Fashion Week is fast approaching, the most stressful, busiest and most exciting time for models and agency staff alike. Now for those of us behind the scenes the preparations and week itself involve little or no sleep, gallons of coffee and late night takeaways so we thought it was time to take some advice from the models themselves and let us share with you the tips on how to survive Fashion Week.

Part one: Constance Jablonski

What is your trick to staying energetic and healthy during the fashion month?:
I’m trying to get as much sleep as I can the week before the shows season start, to get ready for a mom-stop exciting and crazy month!
During the fashion month, you’re running from one show to the next. What is your trick to keeping your skin clear with so many constant makeup changes?:
My trick is to apply everyday a good ‘La Roche Posay’ moisturiser before going to bed.
What do you normally eat during the fashion month? Are there any good snack foods that you keep in your handbag during the shows?:
My alimentation during the fashion month doesn’t change, a good breakfast every morning and I’m ready to run to all of my castings.
What are the top three beauty items you can’t live without during the fashion month?: My moisturiser from La Roche Posay, a good lip balm and my ipod (music is essential to your beauty!).
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given about surviving a month of fashion shows?:
No stress, no disappointment and enjoy the fun of every show you get!
How do you prepare for a month of fashion shows?:
I don’t have any specific preparation, just to take as much rest as possible!

Private Esti!

We are excited to announce that we now have Esti Ginzburg on board..

Elite London is a firm believer in models continuing their education and having interests and hobbies outside the industry and Esti Ginzburg is the perfect roleMODEL for this belief. Apart from being a successful model, appearing on the cover of French Elle and starring in big name campaigns such as Burberry and Tommy Hillfiger, Esti is making her acting debut in the 2010 Joel Schumacher film 'Twelve'. As impressive as this CV is, what really makes this girl unique is the fact that she is Israel's hottest soldier and has recently been serving her mandatory tour of duty.. wow!

IN DEVELOPMENT... a film by Mike Gosbee

We are so proud of our gorgeous development girls, so when photographer turned film director Mike Gosbee asked us if he could create a showcase featuring some of our faves 'in rehearsal' we couldn't wait to see the results. And here they are - graceful, serene and utterly captivating!

In order of appearance: Charlotte Benson, Julie Dumont, Julia Johansen, Justine Boomer, Sylvie Crabbe and Samara Fagan.

Thanks also to the very talented Max Perryment who composed the music especially for this piece.

Hartje Hits a Home Run

Impossibly bronzed, fabulously blow-dried and checking out a slinky looking yacht on the horizon... some girls get all the luck! The lovely Hartje features in this film promoting German designer Rena Lange's new season collections, and it's making us jealous! Especially as not only is this supermodel blessed in the looks department, she's also a busy charity campaigner too, dedicating much of her time and support to the Organisation for Social Service for AIDS in Ethiopia. Good looking AND good hearted...

Visit Hartje's website at http://www.hartjeandresen.net/ to find out more about her projects in Ethipoia.

The talented Miss Hardwick

As an agency, we love to get behind new talent, whether this be a new model, photographer or stylist and nobody has impressed us more in recent months then photographer Eleanor Hardwick. At 16 years old you would have thought it would be safe to say that we are the first to sing her praises but Eleanor has already shot for Dazed and Confused, Look and Grazia...talk about starting early! We were lucky enough to get a couple of our new faces in for a test shoot before Eleanor hits the big time and we love, love, love the dreamy, peaceful quality of this story featuring our girls Justine and Jenny.
If Eleanor can achieve all this while studying for her A levels we can't wait to see what comes next!

New girls

We can hardly keep up with the steady stream of established models joining us at Elite London! Here are the latest recruits:

Alexina Graham made a name for herself with the now infamous Burberry campaigns as well as being a catwalk pro, walking for everyone from Paul Smith to Vivienne Westwood...

        Alexina

Franziska Frank is instantly recognisable for her work as the face of Guess. She's also a Vogue cover girl, beauty campaign star and former EML contestant... we can't wait to see what we can do for her in London!
